Last week, Bungie announced that the overlay functionalities of third-party tools such as EVGA Precision, MSi Afterburner and FRAPS will not be compatible with Destiny 2. Naturally, this upset a lot of PC gamers, however today the team revealed that both the upcoming PC beta and the final version of Destiny 2 will feature an in-game FPS counter. Bungie has announced that Destiny 2 won’t be compatible with a lot of well known third-party monitoring programs. The dev team noted that it will resist attempts by third-party applications to insert code into the game client in order to prevent hackers from getting access to it. Last year, Activision included a remastered version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s Digital Legacy and Digital Deluxe Editions. Activision has launched a free weekend for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. This basically means that PC gamers can download and play Infinite Warfare for free until July 30th. Destiny 2 – PC open beta begins on August 28th, PC beta system requirements revealed
Bungie has announced that the open beta phase for the PC version of Destiny 2 will begin on August 28th. Those who have pre-ordered the game will gain early access to it, and the beta will open to everyone on August 29th. This open beta phase will last until August 31st and even though Bungie did not clarify, we are pretty sure that you’ll need a Battle.net account in order to download it.
