THQ Nordic will release a physical retail version of Halo Wars 2 for the PC

THQ Nordic announced that it’s partnering with Microsoft Studios and 343 Industries to bring Halo Wars 2 for Windows 10 to retail stores worldwide via physical packaging release. In addition, purchases of the physical retail release of Halo Wars 2 on Windows 10 PC will grant digital access to the Xbox One version via Xbox Play Anywhere. As promised, Microsoft and 343 Industries have released a new patch for Halo 5: Forge that adds a custom game browser. This patch is around 8.8GB in size, and packs PC-specific fixes and improvements, as well as mouse responsiveness improvements. According to the developer, this update will pack PC-specific fixes and improvements, and may hopefully improve mouse responsiveness. Halo Wars 2 – Season Pass may be completely free to everyone

It appears that the Season Pass for Halo Wars 2 will be completely free to all game owners. Whether this is a pricing error or not remains to be seen, however the Season Pass for Halo Wars 2 is currently available on the Windows Store and can be acquired free of charge. Halo 5: Forge will get a custom game server browser post-launch

343 Industries franchise development director for Halo, Frank O’Connor, has confirmed that Halo 5: Forge will get a custom game server browser. While this feature won’t be available at launch, however O’Connor claimed that it will be coming via a patch after Halo 5: Forge’s release.
