New Metro Exodus screenshots released, showcasing the Summer desert map

Deep Silver has released a new set of screenshots for Metro Exodus. These screenshots showcase the game’s Summer desert map, giving players a look at a completely different environment (and one that you’d expect to find in other post-apocalyptic games like Mad Max or RAGE 2).

Metro Exodus is an epic, story-driven first person shooter from 4A Games that blends deadly combat and stealth with exploration and survival horror in one of the most immersive game worlds ever created. Flee the shattered ruins of dead Moscow and embark on an epic, continent-spanning journey across post-apocalyptic Russia in the greatest Metro adventure yet.

Players will explore the Russian wilderness in vast, non-linear levels and follow a thrilling story-line inspired by the novels of Dmitry Glukhovsky that spans an entire year through spring, summer and autumn to the depths of nuclear winter.

Metro Exodus will support real-time ray tracing effects, although 4A Games has not announced yet whether these effects will be available when the game launches on February 25th. Moreover, there is no word whether the dev team will add support for DLSS.

Enjoy!
