Brand new in-game Cyberpunk 2077 screenshot released

CD Projekt RED has released a brand new in-game screenshot for Cyberpunk 2077. This screenshot showcases a black guy with a gun, and we can appreciate the game’s visuals. There is also a cool depth of field/bokeh effect, though this is more likely for cinematic purposes.

If there is one thing that I can criticise is the facial shading effects. To be honest, I’ve seen better faces. For example, his skin looks a bit more “plasticy” than what I can expect from a 2020 game). Apart from that nitpick, Cyberpunk 2077 looks great in this shot. Okay okay, it doesn’t show much but at least it has a great style and atmosphere.

And… well… there is nothing more to share really. I’m pretty sure that if it was another game, our readers would be laughing at us for dedicating a whole article to a single screenshot. But hey, this is Cyberpunk 2077 we are talking about.

Cyberpunk 2077 will be using the next iteration of the RED Engine, REDengine 4. As such, it will be interesting to see the engine has evolved compared to its The Witcher 3 days.

As we’ve already reported, CD Projekt RED presented a new gameplay demo at E3 2019 and stated that it will release an official gameplay video, based on that build, during PAX West 2019. The game will be also shown at Gamescom 2019, though its gameplay footage won’t be streamed online.

Enjoy!
