Modder ‘nexstephen’ has released a new mod for Bethesda’s RPG, Starfield. This mod is all about making the game’s non-player characters (NPCs) behave better. With this mod, you won’t have all the NPCs giving you creepy stares with their weird eyes.
The modder explained that this mod is based loosely on the Realistic Conversations Mod for Fallout 4. This mod does a bunch of cool things. For starters, NPCs won’t stare at you or shout from far away, they won’t cut you off mid-sentence, and they won’t make comments about what you’re up to. Plus, they’ll be more emotional, blink less often, chat more with other NPCs, taunt you during fights, and, most importantly, act more like real people and less like flat characters in a video game.
In short, this is another must-have mod for Starfield that you can download from here.
Speaking of Starfield, we also suggest taking a look at these mods for it. Yesterday, we shared this mod that implemented physics collisions to all dead bodies. Earlier last month, we also shared the Disk Cache Enabler Mod which aims to reduce the game’s disk usage. Then we have this mod that solves the game’s elevated black levels/washed-out graphics. You can also use this guide in order to increase your FOV. Let’s also not forget the DLSS 2/XeSS and the DLSS 3 Frame Generation mods. Those who also want to improve the game’s graphics can either use Starfield HD Overhaul or Starfield HD Reworked.
Sprinting Stuttering Fix is another cool mod that stops the annoying stutters when you run. Then, you can grab this mod that makes the game run smoother by fixing a bunch of scripts. And don’t forget these two must-have mods that make the game look and feel better with a new User Interface and cooler Particle Effects. On the other hand, this mod lets you travel between planets in real-time. Oh, and let’s not forget this mod that brings a dynamic weather system into the game.
Have fun!

you know john you dont have to cover every mod that comes out for this failed game. There are better things to cover.
I think he’s reporting on mods to improve the gameplay experience for the people who purchased the game, and were disappointed.
I can get behind that. I loved it for the first 10 or so hours but I got bored of it very quickly. I’ve actaully gone back to (a modded) Skyrim and it’s sooo much better. If a few mods come out that makes Starfield more interesting I’d be happy to read about them.
Starfield is currently only the 63th best selling PC game. Behind “Naraka, Bladepoint”, who even knows what that is.
It is the 36th most played game. Behind “Mir4”, who even know what that is.
Stop talking about dead games. Who even owns an Xbox in 2023.
ffs the haters just love to come here and bark, ok we get it you’re miserable and love to share it. Yeah it’s a disapointment but SO ARE MOST AAA GAMES sheesh. Go play the DnDweeb fest at bg3 you salivate over or grab some other game and STFU.
I didn’t even know what this game was until it released, I thought it was some star system thing where you’re in a ship always type game so I had no expectations or any hype about it at all, makes for a much better and objective experience then reading lying marketing and such.
Some of us loved FO4 but don’t like online games so FO76 was out so therefore this is the first new FO game since 2015 and it is at least a 7, no major bugs, decent graphics even amazing in certain places where it’s handcrafted, starship design, actually beautiful imagery overall, unlike cp77 where they have great FIDELITY but of ugly places mostly, take Dogtown for example, along with generally nastiness which this doesn’t have too much of, SOME OF US like not having ugliness pushed in our faces all the time. Oof go hide under the rock you came out from under in the first place.
On a side note there’ s been a dont stare at me mod from like the first week this was released, there’s also a bug eyes fix too. Idk I did most of it and put it down for the most part, so many games releasing it’s great time to play.
