New Red Dead Redemption 2 Mod introduces new creatures & monsters

Red Dead Redemption 2 came out last year on the PC. Since then, and contrary to GTA5, we haven’t really seen a lot of mods for it, which is kind of disappointing. Thankfully, though, modder ‘HermanDude’ has released a pretty cool mod that adds some new creatures and monsters to hunt.

This mod adds the following creatures and monsters:

  • Big Sister
  • Bogeyman
  • Giant Hunter
  • Giant Prisoner
  • House of the Damned
  • King Bear
  • Megalodon
  • Snow Giant
  • Vampires
  • King Alligator

As HermanDude noted, this mod is in its early stage of development. Thus, players may encounter some bugs and glitches, and may experience some game crashes.

Unfortunately, most of these creatures do not use their “unique” powers. For instance, the vampires use pistols in order to fight back (instead of, you know, their vampiric powers). Megalodon also appears to just stay still in one specific place.

Still, I’m pretty sure that most Red Dead Redemption 2 players will find this mod cool. After all, it adds new free content to the game.

Speaking of Red Dead Redemption 2, you may want to try some trainers. Right now, that’s the most common “mods” for RDR 2, even though OpenIV has already added support for it. RedM is also in a really early stage, though you can download a version for it. You can also find mods that add more bounty missions and that allow you to rob banks.
