Dragon's Dogma 2 feature-3

Dragon’s Dogma 2 April 25th Patch Available for Download

As promised, Capcom has released a new Title Update for Dragon’s Dogma 2 on all platforms. According to the release notes, the April 25th Patch brings adjustments to Pawns’ behavior and dialogue, and fixes a number of issues. So, let’s take a closer look at them.

Now before continuing, this patch does not bring any performance improvements. And no, there aren’t any CPU enhancements. There is also still no official support for DLSS 3 Frame Generation. As such, you’ll still have to rely on this mod.

With this out of the way, let’s now take a look at the April 25th Update.

This new update makes dragonsplague less likely to spread and makes it easier to see when Pawns have it. It also fixes some problems and makes some changes to how the minimap works.

As we’ve already said, this update mainly focuses on improving the game’s Pawns. For instance, you can now zoom in on the faces of the Arisen and Pawns in the status screen, shops, etc. Moreover, there are numerous adjustments to the Pawns’ behavior and dialogue. You can find all of them below.

It’s also worth noting that this latest update should make the game more stable. Capcom claims that it has fixed some crashes and freezes that could occur in specific circumstances.

Like always, Steam will download this patch the next time you launch its client. Below you can also find its complete changelog.

Finally,  I highly recommend downloading these mods for DD2. These mods will greatly enhance your gaming experience, and they are a must. At least in my opinion. They should also be compatible with this latest version. So, you can download this mod that improves its mouse camera movement. Another mod adds a cool lock-on combat mechanic. Then we have the Save Manager Mod which is a must-have mod. This mod allows you to start a new game, create multiple characters, and have an unlimited number of save files for each character. Let’s also not forget this mod that improves the quality of Ray Tracing, and reduces its smearing side effects. You can also download this mod that adds teleport waypoints to all major locations. Finally, you can get some 4K Texture Packs from here and here.
