Back in March, we informed you about a mod that promised to bring the Classic Nemesis to Resident Evil 3 Remake. Unfortunately, that mod was immediately taken down and has not been re-released since then. Thankfully, though, there is now a new mod that brings back our beloved Nemesis.
Capcom has announced some new sales figures for its latest games. According to the Japanese company, Resident Evil 2 Remake has sold over 6.5 million copies, whereas Resident Evil 3 Remake has sold 2.5 million copies.
Capcom has announced that it is currently working on numerous games that will be powered by the RE Engine. The RE Engine was used in Resident Evil 7, Devil May Cry 5 and Resident Evil 2 Remake, and has been able to provide amazing visuals and impressive performance on current-gen hardware.
Xorrito78 has released a brand new mod for Resident Evil 2 Remake that lets you play as Excella Gionne from Resident Evil 5. According to the modder, Excella’s face is fully functional and animated, and there are proper body physics.
Modder ‘pepodmc_’ has released a new AI-enhanced HD Texture Pack for the Dreamcast version of the first classic Soul Calibur game. Similarly to the Dino Crisis HD Texture Pack, PC gamers can use this texture pack in order to improve the game’s visuals by running it via the Dreamcast emulator, Reicast.
In its latest financial report, Capcom revealed that it will consider releasing more remakes and remasters for its older IPs. This could open the door for a remake of Dino Crisis (because everyone loves dinosaurs right? Right?).
