Dark Secrets – New footage released; Demo Available

DreamCraft Entertainment released a new video for their indie adventure game that is powered by the Unity engine, Dark Secrets. Dark secrets is nearing its final state of development and this brand new trailer features a massive amount of improvements, better graphics, better gameplay and optimizations. Cry of Fear – 11 minutes Co-op Gameplay

Team Psykskallar, creators of ‘Afraid of Monsters’ and ‘Resident Evil: Cold Blood’, has released a new gameplay footage for their Half-Life 1 mod, Cry of Fear. Cry of Fear promises to be one of the best horror mods and although its graphics are dated, it has a great atmosphere and the magic – and ideas – of most indie games. Team Psykskallar also promises new gaming styles that we’ll rarely find in other Half Life mods. For a Half Life mod, Cry of Fear looks great so be sure to check it out! Far Cry 2010 – Waterfall Demonstration

Far Cry 2010 is a graphics mod for CryTek’s masterpiece FarCry. This project started in April 2010 with the intention of improving graphics in all single-player campaign levels. Naturally we will remain with Far Cry’s established CryEngine. Yet Far Cry 2010 does not only improve textures and applies some other minor changes like it has been seen in so many minor mods since 2004, but it aims to overhaul each and every level. CrimeCraft – Second Expansion coming this December

Vogster Online has announced the second major expansion to its flagship free-to-play online shooter CrimeCraft. CrimeCraft: GangWars, coming in early December, is set in the bloody aftermath of the Bleedout Campaign and the destruction of the Scorpion Chamber, the governing body of Sunrise City. PC gamers, meet Dustforce; A 2D platformer, inspired by Super Meat Boy

Dustforce is a new 2D platformer from Hitbox Team that is definitely inspired by the awesome Super Meat Boy. In Dustforce, players stylishly flow through precarious environments, sweeping up dust, leaves, trash and slime. In the full game, players can sweep their way through one hundred and one unique challenges and a massive seamless adventure mode. The game is slated for a late 2011 release on the PC and Mac. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – First 20 Minutes [PC footage with Ultra settings at HD 1200p]

Remember that 20 minutes video that was removed due to Bethesda’s copyrights? Well, we can finally post a new one – since there isn’t any embargo right now – in all its glory. This is PC footage with Ultra settings at 1920×1200 resolution. This is as good as it get’s and as we can see, Skyrim uses more than 1GB of vRam with the aforementioned settings. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – How To Enable Ambient Occlusion

So, Skyrim is out now and you can expect lots of news and tweaks about it. This weekend, we’ll discuss about our most anticipated mods that might get released in the following days. But for now, let’s see how you can enable ambient occlusion. Contrary to some games, Skyrim doesn’t provide any in-game option to enable it. Thankfully though, we can use the compatibility bit of Fallout 3/New Vegas to force it via Nvidia’s Inspector Tool. Oh, and in case you didn’t catch it, this is another hint that Skyrim’s engine is basically an upgraded version of Gamebryo. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Unlocked Now On Steam

The moment that we’ve all been waiting has finally come. Oh yeah everyone, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is now unlocked for everyone on Steam. Yeap, no reason now to use custom VPN and such tricks to unlock it. Skyrim’s launch seems great as right now, there are around 6 thousand people playing it. In addition, it is in the eleventh place of Steam’s stats. Pretty great, right? If you bought it from Steam, go ahead and play it.
