Massive Changelog for Battlefield 3’s Upcoming Patch; lots of balance tweaks in weapons and vehicles

DICE and Electronic Arts have revealed the changelog for Battlefield 3’s upcoming patch. Although there is no ETA as of yet, the changelog is huge and could possibly be the best we’ve ever seen. The list is not complete and DICE is still working on improving online gameplay, fixing bugs and tweaking the game’s mechanics. Some of the changes are increased spawn protection, balance tweaks for lots of weapons and vehicles, as well as improvements to some general gameplay features. Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs will be filled with more terror, horror and paranoia than Amnesia: The Dark Descent

In a recent interview with Joystiq, Frictinal Games and The Chinese Room revealed what most of us were suspecting all this time. The two companies are joining forces for the next Amnesia title called ‘Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs’. This new Amnesia game is funded by Frictional Games, developed by The Chinese Room, and will be released some time before this year’s Halloween. But that’s not important. What’s really interesting here is that Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs will be filled with more terror, horror and paranoia. Deep Black: Reloaded gets a Pre-launch trailer; new screenshots revealed

Biart Studios have released a pre-launch trailer and some brand new screenshots for their upcoming third person under-water game, Deep Black: Reloaded. Featuring 40 single player missions across land and water, Deep Black: Reloaded is set in a desolate near future of global terrorism and espionage as players become involved in a desperate fight for world supremacy and the possession of a sophisticated biological weapon. The game supports Nvidia’s 3D VISION, as well as the Razer Hydra controller, and is slated for a March 1st release. Korean Indie team Turtle Cream will release their 1st commercial game ‘Sugar Cube : Bittersweet Factory’ at February 25th. Sugar Cube : Bittersweet Factory is commercial version of ‘Sugar Cube’, which won 2010 IGF China best game. Sugar Cube : The Bittersweet Factory is a 2D platformer game that presents the story of a sugar cube. The backgrounds of the game have two sides, namely, the front and the back. Alan Wake FXAA Injector boosts the game’s atmosphere, Remedy explains why SLI is not supported

And here is the first mod for Alan Wake PC. Well… kind of. Remedy’s community member ‘john129pats’ has released a settings profile for FXAA Injector, the famous tool that was used heavily in Skyrim. This FXAA profile is said to enhance the atmosphere by making nights darker, and making your flashlight stand out. The profile comes with Desaturation, Extra Anti-Aliasing, Bloom,Light Sharpening, Darker Nights and Brighter Lights. You can find the download link, as well as some comparisons below. New Serious Sam 3: BFE Update comes with Global illumination fixes and additional animations

Croteam has released a new update for their amazing first-person “kill_everything_that_is_in_front_of_you” game, Serious Sam 3: BFE. This new update comes with fixes to the game’s Global illumination lighting and the addition of various animations for Sam himself, as well as some other fixes.
