Skyrim HD – 2K Textures Version 1.5 Is Now Available

Modder NebuLa has released the 1.5 version for his amazing Skyrim mod, 2K Textures HD. The Mod is 2.2GB big (1.64GB in .bsa packed files) and replaces 600 textures and normal maps. The time spend into the Project is currently way over 200 hours. The size of all the created Source Files is at 83.51 GB. Just… wow. The achieved texture resolution is 4-8x (2-4k resolution) bigger than the original ones and still 2x – 8x bigger than the Bethesda HD DLC and its latest version comes with lots of changes. PlanetSide 2: Time Lapse Weapon Design Video

Sony Online Entertainment has created a design time-lapse video of the Sky Lance weapon prototype with Senior Artist Roel Jovellanos, who walks the viewer through his process, from concept art to the fully textured 3D finish. Now this is an interesting video as we don’t get this kind of stuff everyday. PlanetSide 2 takes all the groundbreaking features from the original game – massive multiplayer battles, distinct empires to rally around, and enormous continents where intense ground and air combat unfolds – and adds features that modern gamers have come to expect out of the FPS and MMO genres. You know what? I love Crytek. Yeah, the company screwed us with the initial release of Crysis 2 but since then, we’ve been getting a lot of support and love. Earlier yesterday, we reported that CryEngine 3.3.9 SDK was available and today, we bring you a video that shows off the new changes made to Crytek’s latest SDK tool. Nuclear Dawn gets a new Update with lots of fixes, balance tweaks and improved Commander View

Interwave Studios has released a new update for Nuclear Dawn. This new update comes with lots of fixes, as well as attack notifications, health, and round timer in commander view, and new minimap blips for some player radio calls. The update will be auto-downloaded next time you start the Steam client and you can view its entire changelog below.
