Deep Silver and X1 Software/AWAR today revealed new details on the multiplayer mode and the editor of the upcoming tactical shooter “Iron Front – Liberation 1944”. The editor lets players create new battles and missions while the multiplayer mode offers various game modes such as “free for all” and cooperative matches. “Iron Front – Liberation 1944” will be available exclusively for the PC from May 25, 2012. At this year’s PAX East, Creative Director Mike Laidlaw revealed some interesting new information about the upcoming third part of the Dragon’s Age series. Thomas Happ is a talented fella who is developing an indie retro action-adventure title. Players take the role of Trace, a relatively normal (if quirky) guy who suffers a fatal-ish injury, after which he wakes up in a strange, unsettling new world that is both high-tech and incredibly ancient. Deep Silver and Piranha Bytes today released the fifth episode of the six part making of series that will become available over the course of the next months. In this episode, the developers from Piranha Bytes discuss the different fighting options in the game and explain how fighting is just one of the options allowing players to progress in the game, and how avoiding the fight can solve quests too. Risen 2 will support different fighting styles available, which will allow players to utilize blades, firearms and voodoo. Risen 2 is currently slated for an April 27th release on the PC. Enjoy! Ubisoft has released a new video that showcases the multiplayer mode of the upcoming new Ghost Recon title. Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will be released on the PC in June 15th and will feature high standard PC visuals (DX11 renderer, new Hi-Quality Assets, new Post Process Effects, multi-monitor solutions support, TriDef stereoscopic support), DirectX11 support with Tessellation (for soft 3D models), Compute Shaders-based realistic lighting (for Global Illumination), and Volumetric Fog.
