Blizzard revealed today that it has reached an agreement with Valve regarding the trademark issue with DOTA. According to the agreement, Valve will continue to use DOTA commercially, including DOTA 2, while Blizzard will preserve noncommercial use of DOTA for its community with regard to player-created maps for Warcraft III and StarCraft II. Great news for all Bethesda – and Dishonored – fans as the company has just revealed that the PC version of Dishonored will use Valve’s DRM, Steamworks. Not only that, but Bethesda has also unveiled that they are working on an epic new game and that The Elder Scrolls Online has not affected their support on both their older games and their upcoming, epic un-announced game. One of the most highly anticipated engines of this generation is definitely the Fox Engine from Konami. And since E3 is just around the corner, a lot of people were expecting to see this bad boy in action during the biggest gaming event, especially after Konami teasing that they had big things for this year’s E3. Earlier this week, it was revealed that Ubisoft was still working on Beyond Good & Evil 2. This information was unveiled back in 2011, therefore we didn’t feel the need to inform you about it. Since then, however, we got our hands on new screenshots and an environmental video of it. Keep in mind that this pre-alpha footage and there is no information about the game’s release date. Man, yesterday was Starlight Inception and today ‘Republique’, a game from Metal Gear Solid, Halo, and F.E.A.R. veterans, has been funded 4 hours before the end of its Kickstarter campaign. A couple of hours before, the game needed $30K USD and seemed like it wouldn’t hit its $500K goal. Thankfully, everything worked out and the game will be developed – afte all – for iOS devices, PC and Mac. Developer Fatshark and publisher Lace Mamba Global today announced a publishing agreement for the upcoming PC action RPG Krater.
