2K Games has released the TV trailer for their upcoming third person shooter game, Spec Ops: The Line. Spec Ops: The Line is developed by YAGER and promises to pack a full range of single and multiplayer features complete with competitive and team-based modes, as well as the ability to rank up and customize characters from two different factions. Electronic Arts has released a teaser image for Crysis 3. Now we know how Crytek loves to showcase their game, but if that’s pure in-game screenshot, then we have to say that Crysis 3 will be a graphics masterpiece. The attention to detail is amazing and most of the textures look so crisp. Not only that, but this seems like a PC screenshot (although it looks like Crytek used that super-sampling screenshot capture feature that was also present in Crysis 1 and 2). Warner Bros, TT Games and The LEGO Group today announced LEGO The Lord of the Rings, the latest addition to the wildly successful LEGO videogame series that brings to life the legendary fantasy saga by J.R.R. Electronic Arts and Maxis have released the first in-game screenshots for their upcoming SimCity game. This new SimCity will take advantage of the bullet physics engine and the team is targeting for a stylized look which has a mesmerizing charm about it. Moreover, this new SimCity game will be more accessible to the newcomers and won’t be dumbed down. Well, that’s according to the developers themselves. ArmA 3 promises to be one of the best games of 2013 and Bohemia has just released a presentation preview E3 video for it. ArmA 3 will also be present in E3 where three operatives of the Arma 3 development team will be presenting a variety of showcases, such as diving, helicopters and night ops – using Camp Maxwell, a military outpost on Stratis, as the base of operations. Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics have revealed the full new “Crossroads” E3 trailer for Tomb Raider and announced that the game will hit the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on March 5, 2013. This new Tomb Raider game is basically a reboot of the series and looks very similar to Uncharted. Don’t know if that’s a good or a bad thing. Great news Transformer fans as Activision has just announced a PC version of Transformers: Fall of Cybertron. According to the company, the PC version is being ported by developer Mercenary Games and not by High Moon Studios. Let’s hope that Mercenary Games will do a good job porting it. LucasArts announced today a new internally developed videogame franchise, Star Wars 1313. The game will make its formal debut at the 2012 Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles June 5-7. As players take control of a lethal bounty hunter in a never-before-seen dark and mature world, Star Wars 1313 introduces an integrated development approach by bringing together great artists across the Lucasfilm organization, including LucasArts, Industrial Light & Magic, Lucasfilm Animation Ltd. and Skywalker Sound. A third person cinematic action adventure game, Star Wars 1313 will bring to life the Coruscant underworld, the most dangerous place in the Star Wars galaxy. Trion Worlds released a new action-packed trailer for Defiance. Set to a high-energy BetatraXx remix of fun’s popular track “We Are Young,” the trailer showcases intense cooperative gameplay based around dynamic events called “arkfalls” that appear in both the online shooter and the live action series coming to Syfy. Both series and game were recently announced as launching together in April 2013.
