Square Enix trademarks “Seekers of Adoulin” , incoming expansion/add-on for Final Fantasy XI

Seems that a new expansion/add-on is underway for Square Enix’s MMORPG, Final Fantasy XI as Square Enix has trademarked ‘Seekers of Adoulin’. In case you’re unaware of, Adoulin is a small island off the west coast of the Quon continent in Final Fantasy XI, therefore we can safely assume that ‘Seekers of Adoulin’ will either be an expansion or an add-on for Final Fantasy XI. Assassin’s Creed III – PC version comes out on November 23rd

BioWare and Electronic Arts have just announced that the highly anticipated free DLC of Mass Effect 3, Mass Effect 3 Extended Cut, will hit consoles and PC this Tuesday, June 26th. Dreamworks behind the wheel of the Need for Speed movie; hits theaters in 2014

DreamWorks Studios has acquired the feature film rights to EA’s popular video game franchise, Need for Speed, it was announced jointly today by DreamWorks CEO and Co-Chair Stacey Snider and EA President of Studios Frank Gibeau. Brothers George and John Gatins developed the original story with George writing the feature’s screenplay. Nuclear Union Revealed; Post-Apocalyptic RPG with Open Progression Structure

1C Company has revealed a new, post-apocalyptic RPG that is being developed by Best Way. Nuclear Union promises to feature an open progression structure and players will be able to recruit certain characters. The game will be played from a third person perspective and although its battles will be in real-time, there will be a button to pause the action. 1C Company has not revealed much but you can view below its first screenshots and its debut trailer. Blizzard finally admits that the lack of LAN in StarCraft II was due to piracy

The lack of a LAN feature in StarCraft 2 is something that has annoyed a lot of the game’s fans. And even though Blizzard was previously hiding behind words and excuses, StarCraft 2’s production director Chris Sigaty admitted that the company removed that feature – mainly – due to piracy. Something that doesn’t shock us at all, as pretty much everyone thought so in the first place. It’s nice though to finally see Blizzard admitting the real reasons behind the lack of it. Torchlight II – Post-Beta Changes

Runic Games has unveiled some changes that have been made to Torchlight II after the end of its weekend stress test. According to the company, the character skill pane arrangements have been re-worked to allow finer distribution of skills without being arranged in the classic ‘tree’ style, and passive skills are separated and unlock for investment much earlier.
