Nordic Games announced that they have signed a publishing deal with the state-of-the-art developer Remedy Entertainment to release a PC boxed edition of their top down racing game, Death Rally, developed in co-operation with Cornfox and Bros and Mountain Sheep, available in stores from the 10th August. Sony Online Entertainment has released a new feature for EverQuest II: Destiny of Velious, called SOEMote. SOEmote is said to truly put your facial expressions on your game avatar in real time and the following video proves that this is possible. All players will need is a webcam and a mic. SOEmote will do the rest for you, so you won’t have to experiment with settings, values, or other complicated things. This feature is live now to all EverQuest II players. Crytek has released a new tech trailer for CryEngine 3. According to the company, this tech trailer is from real-time in-game footages of Crysis 3. As you may have guessed, Crysis 3 looks great and this tech trailer features some new, never before seen scenes. The trailer also features some features that were included in the leaked E3 documents, as well as Puppy’s toad (that was featured in one of our Weekly CryEngine 3 Galleries). Crysis 3 is currently planned for a 2013 release on PC, X360 and PS3. We should also note that the PC version will feature DX11 support from the get-go and Nvidia has already included a DX11 profile for it in its latest beta drivers. Enjoy! Oddworld Inhabitants has just revealed the first screenshot from the HD remake of Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee. The game centers on the titular Abe, a Mudokon slave working at the RuptureFarms meat processing factory on Oddworld. When he discovers that he and his fellow Mudokons are to be slaughtered and processed into the corporation’s new product line-up he decides to escape and liberate as many enslaved Mudokons as he can along the way. The player assumes the role of Abe as he attempts escape from the factory in a perilous quest to emancipate his downtrodden people.
