User’s Articles – 5 reasons for horror fans to look forward to Asylum

Written by Haris/Eaze2009
Planned for a release next year on PC, Asylum will take players through a decayed and torn setting in which danger lurks in every corner and every room has its own disturbing history to tell. It is currently in development by Senscape, a company over in Argentina that was founded by Agustín Cordes, the talented designer of the cult favorite and award winning Scratches. An interactive teaser for Asylum, which can also be counted as a brief demo, was released for the game last month. In it, players are given a taste of the games unsettling ambiance, which they can expect from the finished product; and after playing that demo myself, I have come up with five reasons which I believe, is why classic horror fans should look forward to the game. Starcraft II – Terran Theme 1 – Heaven’s Devils – Guitar Cover

StarCraft fans, here is something special for you today. YouTube’s member Dominic Choi has created an amazing guitar cover for the first Terran theme of StarCraft 2. Although my favourite tune from the Terran campaign is the fifth theme (We Weren’t Angels), I can really say that I loved Dominic’s cover. We’re also presenting you elleitt’s cover of We Weren’t Angels. It’s good, though not as polished as Dominic’s cover. Enjoy! Mass Effect Trilogy Will Not Include All DLCs Released

Now this is big bummer for all those interested in the upcoming trilogy package of Mass Effect. Borderlands 2 – PC Performance Analysis

Borderlands 2 is finally here with us, so it’s time to see how this bad boy performs on the PC. Gearbox has promised to polish the PC version and they are offering a nice number of parameters with which you can adjust the game’s visuals. Yes, there is a FOV slider and you can disable the mouse acceleration. However, the game itself seems to be suffering from various performance issues, issues that should not be present on a title that is powered by Epic’s Unreal Engine 3. Dishonored – Incredible Fan-made Rap Song

YouTube’s member ‘douglby’ created an amazing rap song for Arkane Studios’ upcoming FPS title, Dishonored. Before continuing, let me tell you that I’m no fan of rap; I’m a trance lover. So when I say that I really liked it, I mean that I REALLY liked it. Which basically means that you will – most probably – also like it, even if you are no fans of this genre. Dishonored is currently planned for an October release and has already gone Gold. Enjoy! Continue reading Dishonored – Incredible Fan-made Rap Song

Ray Muzyka backs fans up: “Journalists speculating on ill-founded rumors should reassess approach”

Surprise surprise. Yesterday we posted an Editorial on whether we should blame fans for Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk’s decision to leave BioWare and the games industry. As we said, we believe that fans are not to be blamed as those are the ones that made this company what it is today. Fans had valid points about ME3 – and the latest BioWare titles – and Ray Muzyka is of the same opinion, as he revealed that fans speak with ‘deep‘ and ‘honest passion‘ about their games.
