Namco has announced that they’ll be showcasing – in full 3D – Star Trek at this weekend’s London event Destination Star Trek London, in a specially build screening room (using Nvidia technology). The publisher will show a gameplay presentation, demonstrating the most varied co-op experience for this console generation from both Spock and Kirk’s unique in game perspective’s. Torchlight II Patch 1.14.5.5 Released – Comes With ‘Large’ Performance Optimization

Runic Games has released a new patch for its action hack n slash RPG, Torchlight II. According to its changelog, this patch will update your game’s version to 1.14.5.5 and comes with large performance optimization to buff/debuff bar displays, fixes for the ghosting issue that was present on Intel’s HD graphics cards, and various tweaks on Skills, Levels and Items. Project CARS – First Footage Of Wet Weather Effects Unveiled

YouTube’s member ‘Stephen Lyon’ has captured the first footage of Project CARS’ wet weather effects. Now before watching this video, let us remind you that pCars is in alpha stage and those effects are brand new. This obviously means that there are some issues and are not optimized or polished. There aren’t any visible rain drops on screen and the rain splashes from the cars are bugged (those particles should be coming from all cars and not from just a few of them). Sniper Elite V2 gets new modes, maps and an all-new one-player mission DLC

Rebellion’s free offering for October’s brings a new multiplayer map for Sniper Elite V2 as well as a new mode, which comes in both individual and Team varieties — Dog Tag Harvest and Team Dog Tag Harvest. They require players to confirm kills by collecting dogtags from fallen enemies. Also, the Neudorf Outpost map (seen in last month’s paid single player DLC) is now available free to all players.
