Wargaming today announced that World of Warplanes, currently in closed beta, has been updated with a completely overhauled flight model as well as improved mouse controls on US and RU clusters. European players will get the update on February 20th. The new flight model adds more thrills to aerial combat and a more dynamic feel to the gameplay. This change also allows players to focus less on their efficiency in piloting and more on their mastery of technical skills. AMD has released a new beta driver for its graphics cards. According to the changelog, the sixth beta version of AMD’s Catalyst 13.2 resolves minor anti-aliasing corruption seen in Crysis 3 and improves Hitman Absolution Crossfire scaling. Moreover, AMD users have been reporting gains on various games and on Unigine’s latest benchmark tool, the Valley, so be sure to upgrade if you want to benefit from these gains. Crysis 3 has already been unlocked on various regions and Nvidia decided to take advantage of this launch in order to officially unveil its latest high-end single GPU called Titan. GeForce GTX Titan is based on the GK110 chip and provides performance similar to the GTX 690. Okay, the GTX 690 still has an advantage over the Titan but the key point here is that the Titan is a single card whereas the GTX 690 is a dual card. 2K Games and Irrational Games have released a new trailer for Bioshock Infinite that focuses on our beloved Elizabeth. In order to clear a debt, Booker DeWitt is send to rescue Elizabeth from the sky-city of Columbia. According to the trailer, Elizabeth is the flame that shall ignite the world. Crysis 3 has been unlocked on various regions and PC gamers have already put Crytek’s latest FPS title to the test. YouTube’s member ‘ResetLoad’ has made a comparison between the various graphical preset options. ResetLoad used a Core i7 Sandy Bridge @ 4.5ghz with an NVidia Geforce GTX 690 and 8gb Vengeance RAM. To be honest, Crysis 3 looks fine even on low settings. Naturally, there are various low-res textures (even on Very High settings) so let’s hope that MaLDo will be able to create a Texture Pack for it. Enjoy!
