Next-Generation Features Showcased At GTC2013

GTC2013
During this year’s GTC2013, Nvidia showcased some truly amazing features that might be coming to the next-generation titles. Among to those features were some stunning ocean simulation physics and FaceWorks, a technique that has been used to render and animate a human head with incredible image fidelity. According to Nvidia, the data from Debevec’s team exceeded 32 gigabytes for a few expressions of Ira (the man who was rendered) and as a result of that, even the most advanced GPUs will choke on the immensity of that. FaceWorks reduced this to a very manageable 300 megabytes. Debevec’s tech demo was running in real-time on a single Nvidia Titan card. You can view a video from that demonstration below, courtesy of YouTube’s ‘Ubergizmo’. Enjoy! Continue reading Next-Generation Features Showcased At GTC2013

Warframe – PhysX Trailer

Warframe
Digital Extremes has released a new trailer for its free-t0-play third person title, Warframe, showcasing the PhysX effects that have been introduced to it. Nvidia owners will enjoy some new particle effects, though we have to say that we were not impressed with what Digital Extremes added. After all, we’ve seen these particular effects in both Hawken and Planetside 2, so there is nothing new or extraordinary here. Nevertheless, it’s a welcomed addition, and you can view the trailer below! Continue reading Warframe – PhysX Trailer

Therefore, we’re delighted to inform you about a high-resolution texture pack that is currently under development for the second part of the Penumbra series, Penumbra: Black Plague. The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct Coming After All To The PC

The Walking Dead Survival Instict
You know what? It’s really ironic when publishers decide not to comment on a question, when distributors have shared false information, and when you get a proper answer from a pirated group with its latest actions. Despite the claims of Activision’s Greek distributor, IGE, of the PC version getting cancelled, Activision has released this title on the PC, and has already been leaked – though in some regions the game may be already available – by a specific pirated scene group.
