AMD has officially released a new set of drivers for its GPUs. AMD’s Catalyst 13.4 come with support for AMD Radeon HD7790 and AMD Radeon HD 7990, and feature optimizations to improve performance in Far Cry 3, Crysis 3, and 3DMark. In addition, there are significant latency performance improvements in Skyrim, Boderlands 2, Guild Wars 2, Tomb Raider and Hitman Absolution. GRID 2 Gets A ‘BMW’ Trailer

Codemasters has released a new trailer for GRID 2, showcasing the BMW cars that will be featured in this upcoming racer. Players will be able to get behind the wheel of a BMW E30 M3 Sport Evolution, 1 Series M Coupe, M3 Coupe and Motorsport 320 TC. GRID 2 is scheduled for a March 31st release on PC, X360 and PS3, and Codemasters is still not planning to include a cockpit view (not that the company will change its mind anytime soon, but we feel the need to remind you that). Hell bloody yeah. We here in DSOG are huge fans of arcade shooting games. Naturally, this is a genre that has not been very kind to the PC, however things may change with this Kickstarter campaign. Nyu Media has informed us about The Tale of ALLTYNEX, a trilogy of arcade shooting games, created for the PC (Windows) by Japanese indie developer SITER SKAIN. All three games are legends in shmup / shooting game communities, both in Japan and overseas, and will be translated to English.
