Obsidian Entertainment has announced that its Project Eternity title is now renamed to Pillars of Eternity. The company has also released some new screenshots from it, as well as a gameplay teaser trailer. Pillars of Eternity is coming in 2014 for Windows PC, Macintosh OS X, and Linux. Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag – New Update Addresses Minor UI & Matchmaking Issues
Ubisoft has released a new update for the PC version of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag that addresses minor UI & matchmaking issues, fixes nVidia Surround Portrait mode for 16:10 monitors and changes Artifact Assault default zone size from 5m to 6m. PC Exclusive “Reset” Teases Open World Environment With New Screenshot, New Trailer Incoming
Theory Interactive has just released a new screenshot for its upcoming PC exclusive title, Reset. This new screenshot teases the game’s open world environment, and a new trailer – that will be released by the end of this week – will be focused on the game’s open environments. Reset looks absolutely gorgeous and its IndieGoGo campaign is currently facing some troubles. The team has so far raised €24K and needs to reach €65K in 14 days. John Carmack Talks About Doom 4: “id Software should do more things more often”
Today is Doom’s 20th anniversary and Wired has a long interview with John Carmack about this legendary FPS title. At the end of the interview, Wired asked John what was going on with Doom 4 and as most would expect, John did not reveal much. Skywind is described as a project by the morroblivion team that aims to run morrowind on the Skyrim engine and improve certain aspects of the original game. Outcast II: The Lost Paradise – Real-Time Prototype Footage Unveiled
Outcast is now considered a classic PC game that blown everyone away with its amazing reflections and its clever use of voxels. However, it appears that the game did not sell well back in the days, which is why its sequel – Outcast II: The Lost Paradise – would be coming first on consoles. As Franck Sauer – one of the original developers – revealed, Outcast sold 400K copies (way bellow Infogrames’ goal that was one million copies), Outcast II: The Lost Paradise was meant to have more action and less adventure, and a prototype video from it has just been unveiled.
