Here are the first screenshots from DICE’s Frostbite 3 Engine using real-time ray tracing

At GDC 2018, DICE showcased its Frostbite 3 Engine running real-time ray tracing via NVIDIA’s RTX and the Microsoft DirectX Raytracing API. And while they are not looking as impressive as Epic’s Star Wars demo, they may give us an idea of what we can expect from the first PC games that will be using it. DayZ will get a new engine upgrade in a couple of weeks on the PC

It appears that the standalone version of DayZ will receive a major engine upgrade really soon. As Eugen Harton, lead producer at developers Bohemia, told PCGamesN, the team is currently working on upgrading DayZ’s game engine and will release this new version in a couple of weeks. Crossout’s Battle Royale/Last Man Standing mode is now available

Targem Games and Gaijin Entertainment have introduced a new PvP game mode to the post-apocalyptic vehicle shooter Crossout, called ‘Battle Royale’. 32 players will fight against each other on the new map ‘Blood Rocks’, which they will search for weapons and equipment to improve their starting vehicle with.
