Topware’s Raven’s Cry Delayed Yet Again, To Be Released This October

Topware announced today that its Caribbean-themed RPG, Raven’s Cry, will be delayed once again. According to the publisher, Reality Pump’s title will now hit streets on October 14th. In addition, Topware revealed what will be added to the title during this new delay.

Raven’s Cry will pack new skills for the main character (a skill tree with over 25 options), and its main storyline will last more than 25 hours. Additional adventures and skirmishes (open-world setting and side quests) will be added, and an economic system with a wide variety of tradable goods and simulated price adjustments will be implemented.

The game will also feature realistic naval combat (hello Assassin’s Creed IV) and cinematic cutscenes with depictions of the dark life of pirates.

Raven’s Cry aims to offer various RPG elements, so there will be a complex game skill system and modifications for all the ships in the game, which can be designed to influence the reputation of the individual sailor with the groups and enemies in the Caribbean.

Enjoy!
