The Witcher 2 sells almost 1 million copies in two months

Great news for all PC RPG fans, as The Witcher 2 has almost managed to sell 1 million copies – or 940,00 to be more specific – in its first two months. For reference, it took a year for the first part to pass over the 1 million mark so this basically means that The Witcher 2 was a huge success for the company.
In addition, from those sales only 200,000 were digitally distributed copies of the game. So yeah guys, PC retail sales are not dead yet.
The above information were posted at Warsaw Business’s Journal that was brought to our attention via Gamasutra.
CD Projekt RED promised to release the highly anticipated 2.0 version of The Witcher 2 on September 29th, so stay tuned everyone!
