Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will support Ray Tracing, gets Ultra PC Requirements

Rocksteady has shared the Ultra PC requirements for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. In addition, we can confirm that the game will support Ray Tracing.

Let’s take a look at the Ultra PC requirements. For gaming at 4K/High with 60fps, PC gamers will need an Intel Core i7 12700K or an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 or an AMD Radeon RX 7900XT.

Suicide Squad Final PC Requirements

For those wondering, the minimum and recommended PC specs are similar to those we shared in November 2023. However, we now have some more details about them. The minimum PC specs target 1080p/Minimum Settings at 30fps. On the other hand, the recommended requirements are for 1440p/Medium Settings at 60fps.

Warner Bros has also lifted the NDA for the game’s Closed Alpha testing. Since we were able to participate, we can confirm that the game had support for Ray Tracing. There was only one universal setting for Ray Tracing, and there was no support for either NVIDIA DLSS 2 or AMD FSR 2.0.

Without any upscaling, at Native 4K/Max Settings/Ray Tracing, our NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 had a difficult time keeping 60fps. Let’s keep in mind though that that was an Alpha Build. In theory, the final game should run better. Or at least I hope so.

Let’s hope that the final build will support all the available PC upscaling techniques. Ideally, we’d want to see support for DLSS 3 and FSR 3.0. Thankfully, PC gamers may be able to use Lossless Scaling Frame Generation if the game lacks the aforementioned options. Let’s also hope that there will be separate settings for the Ray Tracing effects.

Gameplay-wise, I wasn’t particularly excited by this Suicide Squad game. While its shooting mechanics are good, it doesn’t feel like a Suicide Squad game. What I mean is that you could have easily swapped all characters with generic non-hero ones, and the game would still play the same. Say what you want about Marvel’s The Avengers, but at least in that game, Iron Man played like Iron Man. Thor played like Thor. Hulk felt like Hulk. You didn’t have Hulk using a minigun or Iron Man using a sniper rifle. Because that’s exactly what Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League does.

Warner Bros will release Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League on February 2nd.
