Ubisoft has just released the PC demo for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown on Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Connect. PC gamers can download the demo right now, and get a taste of this new Prince of Persia game.
In Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, players will assume the role of Sargon; a young warrior, and member of an elite group called The Immortals. So no, players will not control the prince. Instead, players will go to rescue Prince Ghassan, and explore Mount Qaf.
Inspired by the Metroidvania structure, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown lets players explore a handcrafted world at their own pace. Players will acquire new time powers, unlock unique abilities, and combine them in combat. The game will also have puzzles, secrets and side quests.
Ubisoft will release Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown on January 18th. Here are also its official PC system requirements.
Now what’s interesting here is that Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown uses the Unity Engine. Yeap, you read that right. So, we are really curious to see how the game performs on the PC. After all, we’ve seen numerous Unity Engine games with stuttering issues.
According to the game’s PC specs, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown won’t require a high-end PC system. For gaming at 4K/Ultra with 60fps, you’ll need Intel Core i7-6700 or AMD Ryzen5 1600 with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT.
