Valve has launched Steam Next Fest June 2025, and a lot of demos have been made available. Now I know that I can’t share all of them. So, instead, I’ve decided to share the ones I thought deserve the spotlight.
DEFICIT is a single-player first-person shooter with intense, close-up combat. The demo gives you about an hour of gameplay, where you’ll meet some of the game’s characters and enemies inside the tight, maze-like halls of Hadrian’s Wall. You’ll also get to try out homemade weapons, 3D-printed guns, and other creative tools made for fighting. You can download its demo from this link.
Then we have Rogue Point. Rogue Point is a 4-player co-op shooter from the devs behind the Black Mesa Remake. In this game, you will plan and execute challenging missions in a dynamic Rogue-Lite structure with hundreds of ways to play. You can download its demo from here.
NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound is a new 2D sidescrolling action platformer. The game aims to redefine the classic platformer saga in a spectacular, thrilling and challenging ninja adventure. This is a dream come true for all Ninja Gaiden fans. You can download its demo from this link.
UFL will finally be coming to PC, and there is a demo that you can download right now. UFL is a free-to-play competitive soccer game that provides an exciting and fair sports gaming experience. This soccer game came out last year on consoles. The PC version will most likely be available later this year.
Ferocious is a survival first-person shooter adventure game. You are trapped on a dangerous island full of dinosaurs, armed enemies, and wild nature that can kill you. You’ll explore cool places and fight to stay alive in fast and exciting battles. The demo lets you play Level 2: Crevasse from the recent playtest and a brand-new area, Level 3: Lowlands. Dispatch is a funny superhero game where your choices really matter. You run a messy team of oddball heroes and decide who to send to help during city emergencies. At the same time, you’ll deal with office drama, friendships, and your own dream of becoming a real hero. You can download its demo from this link.
Finally, we have a demo for Vindictus: Defying Fate. Vindictus: Defying Fate is a fast-paced action RPG with exciting battles. You’ll need to learn how to dodge, block, and hit at just the right time to win. Each character has cool moves and special skills that make them feel different to play. The game is now out on PC, and you can try it by downloading the demo from this link.
