Namco BANDAI announced today Saint Seiya – Sanctuary Battle for the PS3. Saint Seiya – Sanctuary Battle is a new action game based on the popular SAINT SEIYA anime series, created by Masami Kurumada and is slated for a 2012 release.
Saint Seiya – Sanctuary Battle promises to immerse players in the most popular drama from Saint Seiya: the Sanctuary. Players can complete quests and progress through the twelve levels and can inflict tremendous damage on their foes with fast-paced Cosmo power-up attacks.
The game will also include a special mode which will allow the player to go further in Saint Seiya universe with alternate stories to delight the fans. Anime series fans will be pleased to know that the game’s environments, characters, Myth Cloths and enemies have been designed to be faithful to the anime. Moreoever, the game will feature the original Japanese voiceover.
Namco BANDAI will showcase the game at the Japan Expo event in Paris from June 30th to July 3rd 2011.
