Kalypso Media has announced the release of Rise of Venice, their new strategy trading game for the PC. Rise of Venice challenges players to sail the seas surrounding Renaissance-era Venice, trading in goods, battling enemy navies and crafting a political empire through means both overt and subversive.
Here are the key features of Rise of Venice:

-Build your own production facilities and trading fleets
-Take fate into your own hands and test your skills in furious sea battles
-Multiplayer mode for up to 4 players via LAN and Internet
