Capcom has announced that it will release today a new hotfix for Monster Hunter Wilds. This hotfix will update your game version to 1.020.01.00, and it will address two specific issues. So, let’s take a closer look at it.
The July 1st Hotfix will fix the unstable frame rate that PC gamers had when equipping ranged weapons. This resulted in some weird stuttering issues, and the bug was introduced with TU2. So, it’s at least good to know that the hotfix will resolve it.
Moreover, the Hotfix will fix a crash that could occur when opening the Equipment Appearance and Palico Equipment Appearance menus. This should make a lot of MHW fans happy as the game will be more stable now. This is another issue that was introduced with TU2.
And that’s that. These are the two issues that this new Hotfix will address. As said, Capcom will release it later today, though we don’t know the exact time yet. Regardless, Steam will download it once it becomes available.
The Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 2, which came out yesterday, brought some cool things to PC. For example, it reduced overall VRAM usage. This should make it possible to enjoy the game with higher-quality textures on GPUs with 8GB of VRAM. It also added support for both AMD FSR 4.0 and NVIDIA DLSS 4. And yes, for the RTX-50 series owners, there is also support for Multi-Frame Gen.
Stay tuned for more!
