At its Xbox Showcase 2023 event, Microsoft revealed the next part in its Microsoft Flight Simulator series, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 will be a brand new game, and not an expansion for the already released MS Flight Sim game.
In Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, players will pursue their dream of an aviation career. The game will feature numerous scenarios that will make it feel better than its predecessor.
As Microsoft claims, this brand-new simulator is designed to take advantage of the latest technologies in simulation, cloud, machine learning, graphics and gaming to create the most sophisticated, immersive and awe-inspiring flight simulator of all time. The game will be also using the latest iteration of Asobo’s in-house engine.
Now as you’ll see in the following trailer, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 looks incredible. This is exactly what a current-gen game should look like. And, believe it or not, it does look better than its predecessor.
The funny thing is that Microsoft Flight Simulator already looked amazing. So, the fact that Asobo has managed to improve the game speaks volumes about its talent. Hell, the game will even have wind effects for grass.
Microsoft will release Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 in… wait for it… 2024.
