To the surprise of no one, SEGA revealed that Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth will be using the Denuvo anti-tamper tech on PC. SEGA has used Denuvo in pretty much all of its latest releases, and Infinite Wealth is no exception. And yes, for those wondering, Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name will also have Denuvo.
Now contrary to other publishers, SEGA has not removed Denuvo from its older titles. For instance, Sonic Frontiers, Judgment, Total War: Warhammer 3, and Persona 5 Royal still use it. Hell, even Yakuza: Like a Dragon, a game that came out in 2020, still has it.
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth brings two larger-than-life heroes together. These two legends are Ichiban Kasuga, an unstoppable underdog who’s no stranger to crawling up from rock bottom, and Kazuma Kiryu, a broken man facing down his last days.
Players will experience one-of-a-kind combat with dynamic, fast-paced RPG battles. Players will have to adapt their party’s skills to the situation with outlandish jobs and customizations to strategically subdue enemies with over-the-top moves.
SEGA will release Life a Dragon: Infinite Wealth on January 26th, 2024. Below you can also find a new video that showcases 20 minutes of new gameplay footage from it.
Enjoy!

My biggest reason for my dislike of the Denuvo Parasite. What about the Publishers that never remove Denuvo? What happens if the Denuvo servers get turned off at some point in the future and the game can’t call home so that it can launch? Do we hope for the goodwill of Publishers to remove Denuvo at that point?
I know that I’m in the minority here but I go back and replay some games all the way back to the early 90s. I don’t want an added layer of uncertainty about whether on not I can replay the games that I pay for which is what the Denuvo Parasite represents.
I don’t blame them, really. I mean, Denuvo has made me rush out and buy all of Sega’s games since they started using it.
Oh wait, no, it hasn’t. I haven’t bought a single one. Never mind.
Who cares/ iti s a strategy game and not a action game whcih means that i(and most peoplle) iwll not play it anyway. But cant wait for like a dragon gaiden!!!
Oh God, not you again. Haven’t you spread your autism to enough places on the internet already? Leave us alone, please.
All i said was that i dont like strategy and turn based games .
Yakuza like a dragon is on Gog

So…no drm
The Steam version still has Denuvo.
They probably still have an active contract with denuvo for steam release I guess… Maybe it will end in 2024 who knows
Denuvo… 2P Bowling included or not?
i Have got over £40.000 worh of games not becouse im rich im just old in my 50′ had steam 20 years gog Origin EA Microsoft Rockstar Ubi if i cant try a game first or has
Denuvo i simply wont buy it no point in wasting money on games now that are crap ports, stutter fests, released to early so thay may miss out on a purchess if i liked the game i will buy it but there is always another i will buy instead.
I think they removed it from yak0 though and probably others in the main line, have to replay some of those great games. jubisoft still has it for 17/18 AC games. I think it’s dubious thinking without denuvo sales are lost, nah maybe a small percentage but most would just skip it, deluge of good games out there. fek rentware.
Who cares if it uses Denuvo. Lies Of P proves that if a game uses Denuvo it can run well. Seems all those bad performance games were only using Denuvo as a excuse for it running bad. And that excuse was from playing wanting good performance. Not the developers themselves.
Idc if it can run well I don’t want anti consumerist spyware on my computer, and what’s gonna happen if they don’t remove it and in 20 years denuvo change servers or ceases to exist or whatever? No more games for anyone?
lies of P is basically a corridor shooter.
I don’t play this kind of games, even if they are free.
Sega using denuvo??? What’s next, the sky is blue? Wow (fr tho wish they fkn stopped 🙃)
