Bandai Namco has released the official PC system requirements for its new Digimon game, Digimon Story Time Stranger. So, let’s see what PC system you’ll need to run it.
Digimon Story Time Stranger is an RPG where you solve a big mystery that takes place in both the real world and the Digital World. You will collect, raise, and train many different Digimon to help save both worlds. The game uses turn-based battles, where you and your Digimon take turns fighting enemies. Plus, it will have over 450 Digimon and deep customization options.
To run it, PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen5 3600 with 8GB and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 or an AMD Radeon RX 580 or an Intel Arc A580. With this PC setup, you’ll run the game at 1080p/60FPS on Low Settings.
For gaming at 1080p/60FPS on High Settings, you’ll need an Intel Core i7-11700K or AMD Ryzen7 3700X with 16GB of RAM and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 980 or an AMD Radeon RX Vega 56 or Intel Arc A580. The game will also require 27GB of free disk space.
Now, as you can see, these PC requirements are quite low. So, a wide range of PC systems will be able to run it with 60FPS. So, I don’t know why Bandai Namco has locked the console version to 30FPS. As of right now, the only version of Digimon Story Time Stranger that will support 60FPS is the PC. It does not make any sense. But hey, it is what it is.
Bandai Namco will release Digimon Story Time Stranger on October 3rd. According to its Steam page, the PC version will not use the Denuvo anti-tamper tech. We’ve seen devs adding it at the last minute. So, take this with a grain of salt. We’ll know for sure whether or not it uses Denuvo when it launches.
