Good news for those who wanted to play Volition’s sandbox game but could not afford it, as THQ has announced a free-to-play weekend for it. This ‘free-to-play’ weekend will begin this Saturday. Unfortunately, pre-loading is not yet available, but our guess is that it will be in the next couple of days.
Saints Row: The Third was a highly enjoyable game, though it had some performance issues at its time of release.
Back in June, THQ’s president Jason Rubin shared his thoughts about Saints Row: The Third and called Volition’s title an embarassing game.
THQ has also announced a stand-alone expansion for Saints Row: The Third, called Saints Row: The Third – Enter the Dominatrix.
