Epic’s Fortnite Battle Royale is now available to everyone

Epic Games has just launched Fortnite Battle Royale. The game is now available for download – via its launcher – and its servers are currently online, meaning that gamers can play for free this new battle royale mode for Fortnite.

Fortnite Battle Royale is a PvP mode for Fortnite that puts 100-players on a giant map with destructible environments, where they’ll combine their Fortnite building and combat skills to be the last one standing.

Epic Games claimed that it will not sell items that give a competitive advantage in Fortnite Battle Royale. However, the team stated that it will sell other things including cosmetics or compendium-like content at some point in the future.

Fortnite’s Battle Royale will remain free to everyone. Fortnite will also transition to a F2P model in 2018.

Have fun!
