Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag – Freedom Cry DLC Delayed On The PC

Assassins Creed IV Black Flag v3

Well, you gotta love Ubisoft. The French company has just announced that the PC version of its Freedom Cry DLC for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is slightly delayed (it was meant to go live today). Although Ubisoft did not give any ETA, it claimed that the DLC was delayed in order to ‘apply a final layer of polish.

As Ubisoft’s UK Forum Manager wrote on the official forum:

“The PC version of the Freedom Cry DLC for Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag will release in the coming days. We are taking the extra time to apply a final layer of polish to ensure that it meets the expectations of our fans.”

Does this mean that we’ll get the PhysX patch alongside Freedom Cry? Or is Ubisoft using its PR tactics once again? And how about that bloody CPU utilization that has not been fixed as of yet (it won’t be fixed but hey… it’s good to keep reminding everyone about it).

Kudos to our reader Eric for informing us!
