As we reported earlier today, Alien Isolation is now available for free on Epic Games Store. From today and until December 22nd, PC gamers can visit its EGS page and acquire their free copy.
Created by Creative Assembly and using the CATHODE Engine, Alien: Isolation is a survival horror set in an atmosphere of constant dread and mortal danger. Players assume the role of Amanda Ripley as they engage in a terrifying quest for survival as you navigate the labyrinthine Sevastopol station. Unprepared and underequipped, players will need all their wits and daring to get out alive.
Speaking of Alien Isolation, we also suggest taking a look at the following mods. This mod improves the AI of the Xenomorph, whereas this mod adds Temporal Anti-Aliasing (TAA). You can also find a VR Mod to download.
Furthermore, you can completely remove The Alien in order to fully explore The Sevastopol. Or you can download this mod that adds multiple xenomorphs to the game.
You can acquire your free copy of Alien Isolation from here.
Have fun!

Every game on Epic Game Store is free.
Everything is free if you’re filthy scum.
You must be grateful to piracy, as it gives consumers an alternative so publisher can put their a**es on the ground and question themselves, without it they will make games cost 200$ and spit on your face as a bonus
That’s not how it works at all. In actuality, game prices go up due to piracy. Now, alternative stores do create competition and those do lower prices (and is why Epic is giving away free games).
I’m all about competition.
Lol the whole history of PC gaming digital stores started with Valve taking piracy into account while making Steam, piracy is the biggest competition of the digital stores, if you’re all about competition you’ll know that https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/a9dd62477225bab7c9bc46d587d7d4e0ac0a566817a07aeb5f5376426b1bac7e.jpg
Yet people still pirate. He failed.
Nah PC sales never been better since, and it keeps growing year after year because piracy pushed for that in first place
Exactly
Turns out zero dollars is the best service. And btw, i had problems with Gabe’s “service” that i never had downloading my torrents.
He failed ? ahahhaahah He raised PC gaming from the ground to the hight skies!!!! You stupid4ss
That’s why only the idiots pay for software found on the Epic store.
Epic, make piracy great again.
You do realize the softwares(games) in EGS is the same as the ones on Steam right?
people that want to pirate will pirate the game. it doesn’t matter what kind of service you give to them. heck if anything they will want to take the cake and eat it too.
Yet a lot of people stopped pirating since Steam, and judging by how PC sales grow over years, and how even DRM free games can be top selling, i guess giving players a good service was the thing to do
just because you see PC sales improving meaning piracy are decreasing.
Improved sales is more importent than decreased piracy
well that one i can agree. still did not prove that piracy actually decreasing.
More sales means theoretically less piracy, this + the fact that games are cheaper, subscription services, third party key sellers… In the end of the day if sales are improving it doesn’t really matter if piracy is decreasing or not, it’s a holy equilibrium, both should exist for multiple reasons and that’s it
Yes because there’s still maggots like those who leaches every f(cking freebee in life (Like those EGS adorators, or Walmart couponing wh(res! LMAO filthy social assisted pieces of trash)
Stupid4ss of the year contender
You mean to say YOU are a filthy EGS bootlicker ? Okay, we get it now, s.cu.m.bag…
Thanks ! /s
I don’t care which rich person gets my money. I buy from literally every store. I do what suits me, like a proper consumer.
Not caring where your money goes is not called being a proper customer, it’s called being a sheep.
Why do I care what person gets my money? I don’t know any of them. none of them are my friend. None of them care about me. As long as they’re treating me well as a customer, what does it matter?
What a childish and naive way of thinking how a market works…keep working for the social score i guess.
Social score gotta be the most forced meme in the internet. Westerners lose their livelyhood if they look at a tranny the wrong way, but people get concerned about some fictitious social score system from china…
So what does it matter if i pirate their games? Is this consumer nihilism?
That’s simplistic (stupid) thinking and that is why evil prevails, because people don’t see longer than their nose. Until it’s too late, and then you have to fight 2 world wars and waste millions of lives because you didn’t want to nip it in the bud.
The alternative is no better though, policing the morals of society, in which case the good guys become the bad guys (see antifa). So it’s all good. 2 steps forward, one and three quarters steps back is still progress. We’re limping forward together.
None of these companies are “good” or don’t anything for civilization, so what does it matter?
Assuming we’re at war with these companies somehow is a little dumb as well.
We’re all just doing our best. Who knows where the money ends up, regardless of the name attached to it.
dirthurts is a “proper consumer” by giving his money to EGS and therefore also Tencent and the CCP, lol. What an absolute clown he is.
Yes because it is only the CCP that wants to socially engineer people to be mindless sheep consumers s/
They do a terrible job at that tough, they gain villain status with a lot of gamers even tough they offers lots of games for free.
He is right actually, a proper consumer is a sheep. Corporations wants more of him, not asking questions, just consuming product.
people do what ever they like with their money. you don’t tell them what to do with their money. branding people a sheep because they buy from a store that you did not like it’s policy?
I wont tell people not to flush their money down the toiler either, doesnt mean I cant comment on their intelligence if they do.
It’s policy ? LMAO you clearly know nothing ahah, get out
i did not need to know the details about it.
Yeahp
Amen!
Nah depends on the perspective, for them yes you are a proper if not the perfect consumer, but a true proper consumer puts his money where it has pro-consumer advantages, putting your money in a store that don’t even care of having basic functionalities is supporting mediocrity
That is exactly what I do. I go where suits me. Same concept, differing wording is all.
Most functionalities I don’t want. I want a simple interface that gets out of my way and into my game. Not much else concerns me.
Of course you have the right to do whatever you want with your money i really don’t care, just don’t call yourself a proper consumer because you’re not.
“Not much else concerns me”
Some of us do, and just as you do whatever you want with your money some of us do whatever they want with their bandwidth, and no company is going to force me to buy their stuff with such an artificial lock like store exclusivity, they didn’t care about me when they did that, they only cared about their own azzes, why do i have to care about them ?
“why do i have to care about them ?”
Free games? I find the false dichotomy between Tim Sweeney or Gabe tiresome, both did good and bad things, idgaf i rather pirate whatever catches my eye.
Free games ? Cracking groups gave me free games for decades without even asking for my email.
Gabe did infinitely more good things to this industry and the PC platform than Sweeny, when the PC platform started had some difficulties in the mid 2000s Sweeney went to MS and started a new life there, while Gabe kept trying to improve the platform in its most difficult times, and then after MS threw his company like a used wipe and now that PC rules again he came back like the opportunistic imbecile he is, seriously if it was not for the UE4 this guy will be as useless as a wh*re in a monastery
Spare me the “sad Steam tale”, as if PC players needs to give Steam their eternal loyalty, f#ck that, and in any case, it was the cracking groups that was scaring away developers.
“and now that PC rules again he came back like the opportunistic imbecile he is”
Reality check: corporations are opportunistic, treat them as “pro-consumers” at your own peril.
“seriously if it was not for the UE4 this guy will be as useless as a wh*re in a monastery”
What about UE3, which basically defined the PS3/Xbox360 generation, for better and for worse?
“Cracking groups gave me free games for decades without even asking for my email.”
I realize that game value nowadays is almost zero, but some people like their products legit, and legit copies fare better when it comes to online content, multiplayer.
“I realize that game value nowadays is almost zero, but some people like their products legit, and legit copies fare better when it comes to online content, multiplayer”
And that’s why 95% of the games they offer are SP only
“as if PC players needs to give Steam their eternal loyalty”
Nah, just a reminder because the past built the present, not all people have short memories, some of us went through these dark times and will always think about what has been improved
“What about UE3, which basically defined the PS3/Xbox360 generation”
As you said, UE3 was a console focused engine, the arbitrary fps limit, awful default mouse smoothing and acceleration, very small default texture pool, limited multithreading in it first iterations and the very limited modding capacities tells a lot
“Reality check: corporations are opportunistic”
Some are way more than others, depends on the context too, there’s in fact good and bad opportunistic behavior
“And that’s why 95% of the games they offer are SP only”
It’s worthy for the 5%.
“As you said, UE3 was a console focused engine”
True, but the best games of that era was made with the help of this engine, Bioshock trilogy, Mirror’s Edge, Batman Arkham quadrilogy, among others.
“Some are way more than others, depends on the context too, there’s in fact good and bad opportunistic behavior”
As long as they can give something in return, EGS at least gives higher share of sales to devs, money and free games. I know the rich uses philantropy to launder their image, but since no one is going to regulate them or something at least ask for tangibles for me and the community.
“It’s worthy for the 5%”
Not for me personally, from all the potentially online games they gave for free, only Borderlands TW Collection and GTA V were a bit interesting for me and i already had both of them years ago
And even if we suppose it’s worthy, i know a lot of people who created an account just to get the free stuff and buy their games elsewhere, Epic’s bait to attract people doesn’t really work as intended, they have to improve their store and add actual advantages over their competitors, and throw away this exclusive policy that is a clear negative move that destroys their image and the future of their store.
“but the best games of that era was made with the help of this engine”
Part of the best games, not necessarily all the best games as you seem to say, a lot of great games of the 7th gen are not based on UE3.
Also BioShock 1 & 2 are using a custom UE2 engine and not 3, i have no issue with the PC era of Epic, i’m a huge fan of all what they did prior to their MS era
“As long as they can give something in return”
The 12% cut doesn’t seem to be as interesting as it seems, as there are less and less exclusive devs/games on Epic, a lot of them jumped on the train at first thinking they’ll force themselves on the customers but now they have numbers and it doesn’t seem to be that good, 88% are nothing if the sales are bad, add the undergone backlash everytime they announce the partnership…
In any case, the best gift EGS brought to me at least is the tears of Steam fanboys who got temporaly inconvenienced. And some multiplayer games for free.
“the tears of Steam fanboys”
Does it help sleep at night ?
It provides quality entertainment.
Man you’re not just taking some popcorn reading the comments, you’re participating meaning they truly annoy you in some way, but maybe being annoyed is entertaining for you…
and you’re not supposed to judge people about what is “proper consumer” and what’s not by using your own bias/perspective.
Facts are facts you know…. For example, the chinese goverment has the total control over Tencent, that’s called a “fact”…
so? he decided to buy from them it’s on him. not on you.
And if I don’t respect this trash4ss for this reason, IT’S ON ME TOO
Nope judging is permitted, it’s only an opinion, i don’t ask him to do what i want
Fixed that for you.
What’s the difference between Tim Sweeney or Gabe Newell? I rather pirate my games…
Coonsumer more like. That’s your one value you measure others, if they don’t consume properly, they are “scum”.
You must be a good Amazon customer, you filthy trash
Indeed.
no shopping cart in 1 year LOL epic store fail!
This game is so f##ken good!! Highly recommended.
…To bu buyed on Steam @ 4$ in sale… like I’ve done like 3-4 years ago………….
Finally a decent game…
The VR Mod doesn’t work. I get the following error when launching:
Exe check failed!
[0x54254411]
This check is to ensure that MotherVR is correctly modifying the game, and is looking in the correct locations.
If Alien: Isolation is on an out-dated version, make sure to update through Steam. If a new update to the game has just been released, or this check failed for some other reason, MotherVR may need to be updated.
MotherVR will now be disabled, and Alien: Isolation will startup normally.
Thank you for informing us about free games on all these platforms, Really Appreciate it.
There are so many game launchers now that I forget to log in and check them all and occasionally miss out.
Most of them I would not have known about, Some are worth playing!
Good site, thanks, this one just report on “big games”.
Great deal!
Buyed it 4 years ago on Steam @ 4$ I think i’ts a way better deal, since Tencent Store is a chinese piece of trash
Same here, F(ck TENCENT and their filthy subhuman teenagers LEACHES
