Well, time for some new Kickstartert campaigns for all of you. Double Fine has launched a campaign for a new strategy game called Massive Chalice. Our reader ‘Gianluca Manocchio’ on the other hand has informed us about A Hat in Time, a 3D collect-a-thon platformer in the spirit of the classic Nintendo 64 titles.
Massive Chalice aims to raise $725 in the next 28 days, while A Hat in Time aims to raise $30K in the next 29 days. And from what we can tell, both of these campaigns will easily hit their goals in due time.
According to its description, A Hat in Time is a 3D collect-a-thon platformer in the spirit of the beloved Nintendo and Rare games from the Nintendo 64 era. Think Banjo-Kazooie, The Legend of Zelda andSuper Mario 64 all in one.
Massive Chalice is inspired by classic tactical strategy games like X-COM, Final Fantasy Tactics, and Fire Emblem, as well as Game of Thrones’ array of noble families. With these influences in mind Double Fine promises to create an epic, replayable turn-based tactics game where players train generations of heroes to repel a demonic invasion.
A Hat In Time is being developed for PC and Mac, while there is also a possibility for a WiiU version. Massive Chalice will be released exclusively on the PC.

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
