Morrowind Rebirth feature

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Rebirth 6.0 is available for download

It’s been a while since our last look at the Morrowind Rebirth project. Today, we are happy to report though that modder ‘trancemaster_1988’ has released a brand new version of it that you can download right now.

Morrowind Rebirth is a complete overhaul for Morrowind. This mod adds countless new details, weapons, armors and much more for you to see and do. Basically, this is a must-have mod for those that want to replay this classic TES game.

According to the modder, Morrowind Rebirth 6.0 features numerous bug fixes, graphical improvements, reworked interiors, new weapons and armor, and more.

Now I won’t be listing all the changes and improvements that come with version 6.0. After all, trancemaster_1988 has detailed all of them here. Instead, I’ll focus on the graphical fixes and improvements of this new version.

Morrowind Rebirth 6.0 downscales dozens of custom textures that were unnecessarily large. It also upscales dozens of custom textures, improves a couple of models, and adds new textures and models. Furthermore, it makes the glass parts of Travel Lanterns feel more transparent and less ‘plastic‘ looking.

You can download Morrowind Rebirth 6.0 from here.

Lastly, and speaking of Morrowind, here is the game running in OpenMW with 300 mods. You can also check out TES3MP 0.8.1 which adds support for multiplayer and VR.
