The Witcher 3 First Person

First-person Mod released for The Witcher 3 Next-Gen Update

In February 2022, we informed you about a first-person mod for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Created by modder ‘crthdr’, that first-person mod supported exploration, combat, horse riding & sailing. And we are happy to report that a new version of it is available that is compatible with The Witcher 3 Next-Gen Update.

Do note that this first-person mod still has some issues. For instance, Geralt’s FP shadows do not work correctly with Ray Tracing. Furthermore, and in rare cases, it is very hard to interact with some objects in FP. Thankfully, players can switch to third-person on the fly (for interacting with these objects). The mod also disables Lock On Target, and realistic foot placement. And lastly, the mod does not work with Ciri.

Nevertheless, and despite these issues, this mod will allow you to experience The Witcher 3 Next-Gen in a completely different way. As such, we highly recommend download it from here.

Speaking of The Witcher 3 Next-Gen, modder Half Hogan PL is working on a new version of the HD Reworked Project. This new version will come out in Q2 2023, and you can find here a preview video for it.

Have fun!

  1. The combat still looks like an absolute chore. I really wish I could get into this game but the gameplay is just meh.

  2. I have read your article carefully and I agree with you very much. This has provided a great help for my thesis writing, and I will seriously improve it. However, I don’t know much about a certain place. Can you help me?
