Dark Souls Remastered gets a 1.1GB overhaul mod

Modder ‘Orange’ has released an interesting overhaul mod for Dark Souls Remastered, which is 1.1GB in size and is called The Old Lords. According to the modder, this mod aims to provide a fresh and unique experience.

Going into more details, The Old Lords adds plenty of new rings, consumables, armor, and weapons. Moreover, it drastically changes enemy and item placements. Not only that, but it overhauls and remixes boss placements, and adds a lot of cut content.

  • Adds in over 50 new rings with unique lore and effects

  1. Played through DS1 Remastered for the first time recently and it was a blast. For a remaster textures are crap, but at least it has 144fps and controls are good.

    Playing DS2 now with only 60fps and giant deadzones in the controls is living hell though.
    I still can’t wrap my wrap around why they don’t support higher framerates.
    Plus I must wait 2 minutes each time I boot up DS2 to wait for the connection to the From Software server to timeout since they haven’t secured their servers in 10 years.

    I definitely wouldn’t recommend buying elden ring until they add higher framerates and they apologize for letting hackers into your system through their insecure servers.

    “remasters” this day means “changing the game to be harder and adding lots of random crap while also changing the story.
