Capcom has revealed a new, Gamescom 2012 gameplay trailer for Resident Evil 6 in which Jake and Sherry fight their way through a snowy mountain top. Alongside Jake (and Ada Wong) players will also control both Leon Kennedy and Chris Redfield. The game is said to feature an evolved control system, allowing players to shoot whilst moving; slide; roll in any direction and to take cover along with the addition of an enhanced melee attack. During its Gamescom 2012 conference, Capcom announced a new action adventure game that is developed by Dontnod and is planned for a 2013 release on PS3, X360 and PC. In Remember Me, players will take on the role of Nilin, a former elite memory hunter with the ability to break into people’s minds and steal or even alter their memories. This is why most – latest – video game trailes suck. Yes yes, I used the ‘s’ word but for a reason. Lucas Arts released a new gameplay trailer for Star Wars 1313 (that can be viewed below and is courtesy of IGN). You know, the Star Wars game with the CG quality real-time graphics. And even though the company could have shown us some new gameplay scenes, they decided to recycle all previous sequences into a trailer that will make you dizzy. Seriously now, what’s up with changing scenes every two seconds? It’s not cool, it doesn’t showcase the graphics, and will not be appreciated by a huge number of gamers. Ironically, the raw gameplay footages of Star Wars 1313 that were revealed some months ago are way cooler than this ‘I-will-make-you-hate-me-for-messing-with-your-eyes’ trailer. Ubisoft has released the Gamescom 2012 trailer for Assassin’s Creed 3 that is focused on the Naval Battles that will be featured in it. Assassin’s Creed 3 is currently planned for a November release on the PC, despite Ubisoft’s earlier statements about a simultaneously release with the console versions. Oh I bet most of you will be excited with this. I also bet that some of you will curse me for reminding you such a classic game and for not including a download link. Gearbox has unveiled the third episode of its behind-the-scenes videos for Aliens: Colonial Marines, in which the company’s members talk about the story and tension that will be present in this new Aliens game. Aliens: Colonial Marines is currently planned for a 2013 release on PC, X360 and PS3. Fans of the Aliens movie will be able to see places they are familiar with and according to Randy Pitchford, players who survive an aliens wave and beat them will feel really badasses. 2K Games and Gearbox have released a new trailer for Borderlands 2 and we’ve got to admit that Gearbox knows how to create hilarious trailers. After the ‘Wimoweh’ trailer, here comes another one that gives us an insight on the game’s story mode and classes. In Boderlands 2, players will have to defeat handsome Jack who is the main antagonist and has a few tricks up his sleeves. Borderlands 2 is planned for a September 21st release on PC, X360 and PS3.
