Taking place in the iconic Dungeons & Dragons city of Neverwinter, this free MMORPG promises to take you from the besieged walls of the city once known as The Jewel of The North to subterranean passageways in search of forgotten secrets and lost treasure. 2K Games and Irrational Games have released a new trailer for Bioshock Infinite that focuses on our beloved Elizabeth. In order to clear a debt, Booker DeWitt is send to rescue Elizabeth from the sky-city of Columbia. According to the trailer, Elizabeth is the flame that shall ignite the world. Crysis 3 has been unlocked on various regions and PC gamers have already put Crytek’s latest FPS title to the test. YouTube’s member ‘ResetLoad’ has made a comparison between the various graphical preset options. ResetLoad used a Core i7 Sandy Bridge @ 4.5ghz with an NVidia Geforce GTX 690 and 8gb Vengeance RAM. To be honest, Crysis 3 looks fine even on low settings. Naturally, there are various low-res textures (even on Very High settings) so let’s hope that MaLDo will be able to create a Texture Pack for it. Enjoy! Ah, Minecraft. It’s really amazing that such a retro game can look so mesmerizing. YouTube’s ‘TheHDPixel’ has uploaded a new timelapse short film that showcases an edit to The Wizards Castle Map (a map that was originally created by YouTube’s iPodmail). Guru3D’s member ‘pusscifer’ has stumbled upon a really interesting video from Obsidian’s cancelled Aliens RPG game. This video was uploaded Danny Garnett who has worked on Obsidian’s title and did some animations for the xenomorphs. YouTube’s member ‘davechaos’ has posted the fourth mission from the Single Player campaign mode of Crysis 3. According to davechaos, EA has invited him to its office in which he was able to try out Crytek’s upcoming FPS title. This footage is from the PC version of Crysis 3, though we don’t know the specs of the PC that was running it. Crysis 3 is currently planned for a February 19th release in North America and for a February 22nd release in Europe. Obviously, this footage contains some spoilers. Enjoy! Cristian Fabian has informed us about some new footage for the upcoming Resident Evil mod for Doom, Doom: The Mercenaries. This new footage showcases a new character that will be featured in it, Ada Wong. According to the modder, the basic coding for this character is done, meaning that it will be easier now to add the shotgun, grenades, and other weapons. Justin Salih has informed us about a video he made using our SweetFX mod and the DX10 mod for Aliens: Colonial Marines. The DirectX 10 Mod is said to add better lights and realistic light-shadow effects lamps, as well as better reflections for the weapons. The good news here is that these two mods are compatible with each other, meaning that you can use both of them. You can view such a combination below in Justin’s video.
