Bare Mettle Entertainment has released a new video for its upcoming RPG that sports procedural animated movement and combat system, Sui Generis. The game is set in a dark, hostile mediaeval world pervaded by intrigue and treachery, and this pre-alpha video gives us a glimpse of what we can expect from it. New Dying Light Video Focuses On The Game’s Lighting Techniques
Techland and Warner Bros released today a new video for Dying Light, giving us a deeper look at the technology behind it. With the next generation of consoles upon us, Techland harnessed the added power to develop a physically based lighting system using its in-house Chrome Engine 6. This allows them to not only create realistic lighting and shadows in the game world but more importantly make the game world more authentic and immersive. Dying Light is planned for a 2014 release and is described as a 4 player co-op action survival game set in an open world, boasting a bone-chilling day & night cycle. Enjoy!
