Brutal Doom – New Video Shows Improved Blood Particles

Modder ‘SGtMarkIV’ has released a new video for the latest version of Brutal Doom, showcasing the new and improved blood particles that will be featured in it. According to the modder, the blood has been further modified to make it have a better liquid aspect, and make the bleeding on amputations more realistic (with arterial blood spurting out from the wound). Do note that the blood dripping sound will be reduced in the final version. The Forest – New Trailer For This Upcoming Open-world Survival Horror Title

According to the development team, this third trailer reveals an all new threat discovered deep within the cave system. Battlefield 4 – Naval Strike – Official Trailer

Electronic Arts and DICE have released a new trailer for the next DLC expansion of Battlefield 4 called Naval Strike. Grave – New Indie Open-world Survival Horror Game With Oculus Rift Support

Broken Window Studios has released the GDC 2014 trailer for its upcoming open-world survival horror title called Grave. Grave will support Oculus Rift and will feature dynamically changing worlds, light-based combat and a heavy emphasis on survival akin to classic survival horror titles. The game is planned for a 2015 release. As a side note, Sony has just announced its VR device so expect more VR news between the inevitable battle of Oculus Rift and Project Morpheus. Enjoy! Phenomenal Visuals Achieved in CRYENGINE via Quixel Megascans

Quixel has released a new video, showcasing its amazing Megascans tech that has been implemented in CRYENGINE. Megascans is basically a scanning technique that allows developers to scan real world textures. Scanning tech promises to bring huge improvements to a game’s visuals and a similar technique is being used in Ethan Carter and Get Even.
