Super Mario 64 – Someone Is Remaking It In Blender Game Engine, Looks Incredible

Super Mario 64 is considered one of the best video games of all time. Hell, even Gabe Newell likes it. But let’s all agree on something; the N64 version looks dated. Well, while Nintendo does not plan to remake it, YouTube’s member ‘aryoksini’ is working on a fan-made remake of it, powered by the Blender Game Engine. Dark Souls 2 Massively Downgraded – New Video Comparison Between Retail & April 2013 Builds

I’m pretty sure you’ve all heard the recent reports of Dark Souls 2’s ‘downgradeation’. Well, it appears that those reports were legit after all. YouTube’s member ‘HyperBitHero’ has posted a video that compares the final build with the April 2013 build. As we can clearly see, the final build feels flat and washed out compared to the earlier build. Moreover, the use of specular maps has been decreased for no apparent reason. The PC version of Dark Souls 2 is planned for an April release, so it will be interesting to see whether that version will be able to match the April 2013 build. Enjoy! MXGP – The Official Motocross Videogame – Third Trailer Released

Milestone has released the third trailer for MXGP – The Official Motocross Videogame, introducing its MX2 Championship. According to the press release, the MX2 Championship is one of two main classes in the FIM Motocross World Championship. From 2004 the official FIM championship has been divided into MXGP (previously known as MX1) and MX2 with MX2 catering for motorbikes from 125cc two-strokes through to 250cc four-strokes. Enjoy! Satellite Reign – Spiritual Successor To Syndicate Wars – Gets An Amazing In-Engine Video

5 Live Studios has released a new pre-alpha video for its upcoming spiritual successor to Syndicate Wars, Satellite Reign. This video shows off the amazing visuals that this new sci-fi top-down team based title will feature. According to the team, the video was recorded at 1920×1080 @ 60 fps on a 2nd Generation i5 PC with a Radeon 5970 using Fraps. Among The Sleep is a game that is heavily based on atmosphere and exploration, and uses the perspective of a two year old child. Here Is Your First Look At Nvidia’s APEX Physics In Unreal Engine 4

YouTube’s member ‘seujose’ has posted some new videos, showing off some Nvidia APEX physics effects that have been implemented in Unreal Engine 4. Although we don’t know whether those APEX effects are GPU or CPU accelerated, we do know that this is the first WIP footage of Nvidia’s APEX effects in Unreal Engine 4. New Tech Demo Of Unreal Engine 4 Running On FireFox Without Plugins

As we told you a while back, Epic Games is gearing up for this year’s GDC. It appears that the company has been working hard on making sure its next-gen engine is compatible with FireFox, and released today a new video that gives us a sneak peek of Unreal Engine 4 running in Firefox at near-native speeds.
