Resident Evil Remaster HD Gets New Trailer

Capcom has released a new trailer for the upcoming Remaster HD version of Resident Evil. Resident Evil Remaster HD is coming in early 2015, will be fully remastered with 5.1 surround support for a greater gaming atmosphere, and will offer two control schemes (classic control scheme for die-hard fans as well as an alternative scheme where the character moves directly in the direction of the analogue stick). Crytek’s Free-To-Play Shooter, Warface, Gets NVIDIA’s GameWorks Treatment

NVIDIA’s Andrew Burnes has informed us about a video that showcases the newly implemented NVIDIA GameWorks effects in Crytek’s free-to-play shooter, Warface. Via its latest update, Warface supports dynamic smoke effects, realistic turbulence, and persistent real-time PhysX particles from explosions that interact with the virtual environment as well as characters. As NVIDIA noted, owners of GTX760 graphics cards and above will be able to enable all of the game’s bells and whistles (including PhysX High). Enjoy! Unreal Engine 4 Gets Geomerics Enlighten Global Illumination Support, Showcasing Incredible Visuals

Geomerics has released a new video, showing off its Global Illumination effects that have been implemented in Unreal Engine 4. As the company noted, it has explored how Epic’s latest physically-based lighting techniques interact with dynamic lighting through Unreal’s dynamic light types and Enlighten’s global illumination technology. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas – PS2 Versus PC Versus Remaster Comparison

Rockstar has released a remastered version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas on X360, and YouTube’s ‘GTA Series Videos’ has shared a comparison between the PS2, the PC and the Remastered X360 versions. As we can see, the remastered version looks better than the PC version, though the changes can be considered subtle.
