Project CARS – New Mind-Blowing Community Screenshots

Project CARS v4
It’s really impressive witnessing the graphical improvements on Slightly Mad Studios’ racing game, Project CARS. The company has released today a new set of community screenshots that will blow you away. As always, these shots show purely in-game footage that has not been made in any special photo mode with no post-processing or filters that aren’t available during the actual gameplay. In other words, this is how the game will look on your PCs (provided you use the same settings and SMAA/FXAA injectors with those who captured the screenshots). Enjoy! This is what a next-generation version of Minecraft could look like

Minecraft
Now this is really interesting. Reddit’s user ‘okitobi2’ shared an image of what supposedly a CryEngine 3 version of Minecraft could look like. Unfortunately for everyone, this picture does not seem like a mod or standalone project created with CryEngine 3’s SDK, but rather a real image that suggests how close a CryEngine 3-powered Minecraft game could look like. In other words, don’t expect it to look this good. And even though this might put off some people, another Redditor has shared a video from a game with a procedural world, powered by Crytek’s engine, that looks sweet as hell. This video shows indeed what a next-gen version of Minecraft could look like, even though we’d ask for textures of even higher quality. Enjoy! China’s World of Warcraft Theme Park Opens Its Gates

World of Warcraft
I seriously don’t know who is crazier; Blizzard for not offering WOW’s license to this theme park or China’s organizers for not acquiring the rights? You see, a new theme park opened its gates in China and features big and enormous statues, inspired by Blizzard’s MMO. It also has roller coasters and it will cost you 30$ to get in (so waste no time if you are near Changzhou). And it looks epically amazing. In fact, this could very well be the only theme park I want to visit right now. Since I can’t though, I’ll have to simply rely on mere images to satisfy my need. Thankfully, Reddit’s user ‘FrancescaO_O’ has captured a lot of shots from this park, that can be viewed below. Kudos to our reader ‘Ghost Rider LSOV’ for spotting it!
