Doom 3 Turned Ten Years Old, Still Looks Gorgeous Even For Today’s Standards

Three days ago, Doom 3 turned 10 years old. While Doom 3 was not as action-packed as its predecessor, it did look amazing for its time. Doom 3 tried to experiment and adopted a more ‘survival’ gameplay. And while the end result may disappointed a number of gamers, it definitely looked spectacular. id Software’s RAGE Map Recreated In Unreal Engine 4

When RAGE was released, a lot of gamers criticized its engine, id Tech 5, as it was plagued with… well, a lot of issues. But what if id Software’s shooter was powered by a different engine? Well, Polycount’s member ‘AkiRa’ (Sebastian Schulz) is currently working on a scene from RAGE in Unreal Engine 4. Sacred 3 – Launch Screenshots Released

Sacred 3 will be released in a couple of days and Deep Silver rolled out a new set of screenshots for it. Sacred 3 will feature classic arcade Hack ‘n’ Slash action centered around drop in, drop out cooperative multiplayer for both offline (2 players) and online (4 players) play. The game hits stores on August 5th. Do note that the game has received harsh reviews so far, described by the majority of the press as not a ‘proper’ Sacred game. Enjoy! After Seven Whole Years, Crysis Remains One Of The Best Looking Games Ever [Screenshots + Mods]

After today’s news, we really felt the need to take a look back at the game that made Crytek the King of PC graphics. When it was released, Crysis was THE best looking game. Seven years afterwards and Crytek’s masterpiece still manages to put a lot of triple-A multi-platform titles to shame. Of course, the vanilla Crysis had some graphical shortcomings but thanks to its modding community, Crysis has easily evolved into a game that looks marvelous even to this date. New Assets Emerge From Fan-Made Mortal Kombat HD Remake, Look Phenomenal

Back in 2013, we informed you about Mortal Kombat HD: Kommunity Edition. Mortal Kombat HD: Kommunity Edition was a fan-made of the first MK game that looked amazing and was to be distributed for free. Unfortunately, Warner Bros sent a C&D letter to the team and as a result of that, the project was cancelled. Still, there is another project that is being developed that aims to bring a modern look at this classic fighting game. For obvious reasons, we won’t reveal its name (and won’t share our source as that might put the team into trouble).
